seem less alive and responsive. It's the programming that can make the difference,
allowing the site to customize itself as the visitor expresses themselves through
their preferences, wants and needs.
For maintenance purposes a well designed, program run website can make a lot of
chores easy enough that the site owner can often maintain much of it themselves.
For example, ecommerce sites if set up properly using some sort of database to
manage the inventory and a means for the owner to access this information
themselves.
